NBA’s Miami Heat Will Wear GTA 6 Jerseys And Play On A Branded Court The Day Before Release

The Miami Heat NBA team will host a special branded event called “A Night in Vice City” on November 18, 2026, the day before Grand Theft Auto 6’s release. For this one-night-only game against the Milwaukee Bucks, the team will wear custom GTA 6-inspired jerseys and play on a specially designed court themed around Vice City, the game’s fictional Miami-inspired setting. The event will take place at the Kaseya Center in Miami, which has already been adorned with “Welcome to Vice City” signage on its roof, installed via helicopter.

This collaboration represents an extension of Rockstar Games’ increasingly ambitious marketing campaign for GTA 6. The company previously secured a $3 million partnership with the city of Miami itself. The basketball event will be broadcast live on ESPN at 7 p.m. EST / 4 p.m. PT, with tickets currently available for purchase.

The event promises more than just uniforms and court theming. Organizers have announced “special game programming and live elements” throughout the night, including unique game night activations and exclusive experiences for attendees. The Heat have also launched a Vice City-themed merchandise collection available through their official store.

While the specific designs of the custom jerseys and themed court will be revealed at a later date, the collaboration exemplifies the growing trend of major game launches leveraging sports partnerships for marketing impact. The timing—one day before GTA 6’s November 19 release—creates a coordinated promotional push combining gaming and sports entertainment.
