NBA’s Miami Heat Will Wear GTA 6 Jerseys And Play On A Branded Court The Day Before Release

Rockstar Games has partnered with the Miami Heat NBA team for a major promotional event on November 18, 2026—the day before Grand Theft Auto 6’s release. Dubbed “A Night in Vice City,” the collaboration will see the Heat rebrand temporarily to represent Vice City, the game’s fictional setting inspired by Miami, as they face the Milwaukee Bucks at the Kaseya Center.

The event features several GTA 6-themed elements. The Heat will wear custom uniforms designed for the occasion, and the basketball court will be redesigned with a never-before-seen layout inspired by Vice City and GTA 6’s distinctive aesthetic. The Kaseya Center has already received updates, including a prominent “Welcome to Vice City” sign airlifted to the stadium’s roof by helicopter.

Beyond the uniforms and court, the game will include special programming, live elements, and unique game night activations that Rockstar and the Heat will detail in the coming weeks. The game will air live on ESPN, with tickets already available for purchase. A merchandise collection celebrating the crossover has also launched on the Miami Heat’s official store.

This partnership expands Rockstar’s marketing efforts for GTA 6, which already includes a separate $3 million deal with the city of Miami itself. The collaboration represents a notable crossover between gaming and professional sports, leveraging the game’s Miami setting and the Heat’s home city connection to generate excitement ahead of the release.
