Nacon’s new PS5 controller can mix audio from your phone and console
Nacon has announced the Revolution 5 Unlimited, a new officially licensed PlayStation 5 controller claiming to be the world’s first PS5 gamepad to feature a built-in screen. The innovative device includes an integrated display panel that allows players to adjust settings directly on the hardware without navigating system menus. Key customizable features accessible through the screen include joystick sensitivity adjustments and button remapping functionality.
Beyond traditional controller settings, the Revolution 5 Unlimited introduces a unique audio mixing capability. The device can combine audio streams from multiple sources simultaneously, enabling players to listen to music from their phone while simultaneously hearing in-game audio through a single pair of headphones connected via cable to the gamepad. This creates a more flexible listening experience for players who want to multitask while gaming.
The controller features asymmetrical TMR thumbsticks designed to provide improved ergonomics and control precision. Priced at $229.99, the Revolution 5 Unlimited positions itself as a premium PS5 accessory option. Preorders became available immediately following the announcement through Nacon’s official online store.
