Nacon’s new PS5 controller can mix audio from your phone and console
Nacon announced the Revolution 5 Unlimited, positioning it as the world’s first officially licensed PlayStation 5 controller with a built-in screen. The device enables users to adjust settings directly on the gamepad, including joystick sensitivity and button remapping, without needing to navigate through console menus.
Beyond settings management, the Revolution 5 Unlimited introduces audio mixing functionality. The controller features a dedicated headphone connection that allows players to simultaneously blend audio from their phone and the PS5 console—enabling scenarios where a player can listen to music or podcasts from their smartphone while still hearing game audio through the same headphones.
The gamepad incorporates asymmetrical TMR thumbsticks as part of its design. Priced at $229.99, the Revolution 5 Unlimited opened for preorders through Nacon’s official online store. The controller represents an evolution in PS5 accessory technology, combining hardware customization and audio management capabilities in a single peripheral.
