8 New TV Shows To Watch This Weekend on Netflix, HBO, and Disney (October 2-4)
Multiple entertainment releases debut this weekend across major streaming platforms. Theater releases include Tom Cruise’s Digger and Robert Pattinson’s Primetime, alongside Avengers Endgame: Encore, which features four additional minutes of footage and new scenes setting up Avengers: Doomsday arriving in December.
For streaming audiences, filmmaker and actress Zoe Kazan presents her adaptation of John Steinbeck’s classic novel East of Eden, featuring Florence Pugh, Christopher Abbot, and Mike Faist. The project carries particular significance for Kazan, whose grandfather, legendary director Elia Kazan, helmed the celebrated 1955 film adaptation of the same source material, creating a multi-generational connection to the work.
