Pokémon TCG Reportedly Launching First-Ever Valentine’s Day Set in 2027

The Pokémon Company is preparing to launch its first-ever Valentine’s Day trading card game collection, scheduled for release on January 27, 2027. The announcement comes from a leak reported by Pokébeach, though the company has not yet officially confirmed the release.

According to the leaked information, the Valentine’s collection will not be a full expansion like recent sets such as Delta Reign or Chaos Rising. Instead, it will follow the format of the popular Trick or Trade Halloween series, offering a more limited, seasonal release. The set is expected to be called the “Pokémon TCG Valentine’s Box” and will feature compact foil packs containing three cards each, along with accompanying sticker sheets.

The leak suggests that the Valentine’s release will include special promotional cards or designs tailored to the holiday theme. Given the precedent set by the Halloween series, which featured pumpkin-stamped Pikachu variants, the Valentine’s collection is likely to include its own themed Pokémon artwork, possibly a heart-stamped or otherwise Valentine-specific Pikachu or other popular characters.

This expansion of seasonal TCG offerings reflects The Pokémon Company’s strategy to release themed collections throughout the year alongside its main expansion sets. The Valentine’s Day release would join existing seasonal offerings and provide collectors with limited-edition products tied to major holidays.
