Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds “Final Content Drop Of Year One” Arrives This Month
Sega has announced the final content drop for Year One of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, set to arrive on October 13, 2026. This paid DLC update will introduce Aang and Katara from Avatar Legends as playable characters, bringing beloved characters from the acclaimed animated series into the racing game’s competitive roster.
Players can obtain this content pack through individual purchase or by using the game’s existing Season Pass, offering flexibility for different player preferences. The release represents a notable crossover collaboration between two distinct franchises, combining the Sonic Racing universe with the Avatar world. While Sega specifically labels this as the “final content drop” for Year One, the terminology suggests the possibility of future seasonal updates beyond the current year. The live-service model supporting Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, characterized by seasonal content updates and battle pass systems, continues to be central to the game’s ongoing development and player engagement strategy.
