“Let The Heroic Games Begin” - Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Brings The Battle To Tetris 99
Nintendo is celebrating the arrival of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, a new exclusive title for Switch 2, with a special crossover event in Tetris 99. The 57th cup competition in Nintendo’s battle royale Tetris title will feature Fire Emblem theming, allowing players to engage with the new strategy RPG through in-game cosmetics and themed content.
The crossover demonstrates Nintendo’s strategy of cross-promoting new releases across its existing gaming portfolio. Tetris 99’s cup system has established itself as a platform for monthly-themed events, frequently tied to Nintendo property launches and major gaming celebrations. This approach helps drive engagement across both titles while capitalizing on the established player base of the popular battle royale.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave represents another addition to the growing library of Switch 2 exclusives since the console’s debut, bolstering Nintendo’s strategy gaming lineup. The themed Tetris 99 event provides a secondary engagement vector for the Fire Emblem franchise during its launch period, while introducing the battle royale’s audience to Fire Emblem’s aesthetic and themes.
