How To Get Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen Free Celebi, Explained
Pokémon HOME will soon support Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, enabling players to transfer creatures from the classic Game Boy Advance remakes to the cloud storage service and into other compatible Pokémon games. Launching on October 7, this long-awaited compatibility update comes with a free Level 50 Celebi reward for players who link their FireRed or LeafGreen copies to Pokémon HOME. The process is straightforward—players simply need to boot up their Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 console to claim the legendary Pokémon once the update goes live. This update marks a significant step in expanding the Pokémon ecosystem, allowing players to bring their treasured teams forward into modern titles. FireRed and LeafGreen, beloved remakes of the original Game Boy Red and Green versions, have long awaited this functionality. The addition finally bridges the gap between these handheld classics and the current Pokémon transfer infrastructure, providing fans with greater flexibility in how they manage and evolve their collections across generations.
