Blindfolded Tekken 8 Player Achieves One of the Game’s Top Ranks from Beginner
Professional Tekken 8 player SuperBrine has achieved one of the game’s most impressive feats: reaching the God of Destruction rank—one of the top ranks—while completely blindfolded using a sleep mask. The remarkable run was documented across seven Twitch streams spanning from June through early October 2026, culminating in a viral moment within the fighting game community.
Using Alisa as his character, SuperBrine’s blindfolded climb from beginner rank to God of Destruction demonstrates extraordinary mechanical skill and mastery of Tekken 8. Playing without visual feedback forces players to rely exclusively on audio cues and muscle memory, making progression exponentially more difficult at higher competitive levels. His success is a testament to both his individual talent and the depth of Tekken 8’s design.
The streams have resonated across the fighting game community as both an impressive skill demonstration and entertaining content. SuperBrine’s challenge joins a growing trend of esports players pushing competitive boundaries through novel constraints, capturing attention from both hardcore competitors and casual viewers interested in fighting game culture.
