Halloween’s First DLC Reveals Even The Bad Sequels Will Get Some Love
The Halloween video game is receiving its first paid DLC content on October 27, featuring cosmetic options and new playable characters. The expansion includes two new Michael Myers skins—one based on Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers and another inspired by the 2018 Halloween sequel—each priced at $10.
Alongside the premium content, a free update will launch simultaneously, adding The Tower Farm, a new map based on a location from Halloween 5.
Survivor-focused players will benefit from additional content in the same update, including two new playable characters named Michelle and Eugene. The update also introduces the Civilian Costumes Pack 1, which offers 14 cosmetic outfits across the game’s survivor roster.
The decision to draw content from Halloween 5—traditionally considered a less-favored entry in the franchise—suggests the developers intend to provide representation across the entire Halloween film series, including sequels that may not be as critically acclaimed as earlier installments.
