3 New Batman LEGO Sets Announced, Including Wall Art of an Iconic Joker Comic Cover
LEGO has announced three new Batman-themed building sets launching January 1, 2027. Two sets focus on iconic Batmobile designs from the Batman universe, while the third is a unique collectible wall art piece recreating a famous Joker comic book cover.
The standout product is the LEGO DC Batman: The Joker Wall Art set, priced at $169.99 and containing 1,849 pieces. Designed for adult builders aged 18 and up, this wall-mounted art installation allows fans to create a displayable representation of a classic comic panel featuring the Joker. The ambitious piece combines LEGO’s building block format with fine art presentation, offering an unconventional way to engage with the Batman license.
In an interesting cross-media promotion, both Batmobile sets include unlock codes for exclusive gold-colored vehicle variants in the video game LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. This integration between physical product and digital content encourages collectors to engage with both the building sets and the accompanying game experience.
These announcements represent LEGO’s continued expansion of the Batman license, which has proven popular across multiple media formats including video games, movies, and physical building sets. The combination of playable vehicles and collectible wall art demonstrates the brand’s strategy of appealing to both casual builders and serious collectors within the Batman fan community.
