Pokémon Go ‘World Space Week 2026’ event guide
Pokémon Go has launched a limited-time “World Space Week 2026” event running from October 4-10. The event features an astronaut-suited Pikachu variant that players can encounter and capture through two methods: by defeating it in one-star raids or by completing event-specific Timed Research tasks.
This is a modest in-game celebration with minimal additional event bonuses beyond the opportunity to obtain the special cosmetic Pikachu variant. The event ties in-game content to the real-world World Space Week observance, though the scope is small compared to Pokémon Go’s larger seasonal events.
Players have a narrow window during the event dates to pursue either raid battles or Timed Research questlines to secure an encounter with the astronaut Pikachu variant.
