‘Avengers: Endgame’s Most Iconic Battle Is Officially Coming to ‘Marvel Rivals’
Marvel Rivals is expanding its player-versus-environment offerings with an ambitious new cooperative mode launching October 22, titled Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Endgame. The mode supports up to 50 players working together to battle Thanos and his army in the ruins of the Avengers Compound. According to game creative director Guangyun Chen, the experience will recreate iconic moments from the Avengers: Endgame film, including Thanos’ famous “I am inevitable” line.
This marks a significant scaling up of Marvel Rivals’ PvE content, which has previously been limited to smaller cooperative experiences like the four-player Halloween Zombie Mode. The new mode is part of a broader promotional campaign tying Marvel Rivals to the upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday, with the game continuing to launch tie-in events and content leading up to the film’s release.
