Path To Doomsday: Infinity War Event In Marvel Rivals—Start Date & Launch Times
Marvel Rivals continues its “Path to Doomsday” live event series with a new Infinity War–themed limited-time game mode launching October 9, 2026. The promotional campaign, which began in April, builds anticipation for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday film releasing December 18, 2026.
The new Infinity War event introduces a fresh gameplay format featuring 12 players divided into six teams of two engaged in competitive 2v2 duos matches. The mode’s distinguishing feature is the inclusion of Infinity Stone effects that dynamically alter gameplay and match outcomes. This represents a departure from the previous Path to Doomsday events, which featured PvE content.
Season 10.5 of Marvel Rivals will also introduce an Avengers: Endgame game mode alongside the Infinity War event, marking a significant shift in NetEase’s content strategy. Rather than adding a new playable character—a standard practice in previous seasonal updates—the developer is focusing development resources entirely on expanding the Path to Doomsday experience with these new themed modes.
