Nolan North Is Staying in Shape Just in Case Sony Calls About Uncharted 5

Voice actor Nolan North has expressed strong enthusiasm about reprising his role as Nathan Drake should Sony greenlight a new Uncharted installment. During a Q&A at Gamergy in Puerto Rico, North stated he would be “110%” willing to return to the character, adding that “I can’t see a scenario that I would say no,” and humorously noting that the project hinges on whether “Sony wants to make money.”

While Sony has not officially announced Uncharted 5, reports have suggested that Naughty Dog is actively developing a new entry in the franchise. The studio has confirmed it is working on multiple titles in addition to Intergalactic: Heretic Prophet. Industry reports indicate that Shaun Escayg, director of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, is leading the team behind this alleged new game.

North, who has voiced Nathan Drake throughout the Uncharted series’ major releases, has suggested he is staying in shape in preparation for a potential return to the role. His comments suggest no contractual or personal barriers stand in the way of his involvement should the project move forward. The actor’s enthusiasm adds to speculation surrounding the franchise’s future, though an official announcement from Sony and Naughty Dog remains pending.
