Two mystery PlayStation products have leaked — one might be a PlayStation Portal OLED
Two unannounced PlayStation devices have been leaked through Wi-Fi Alliance certification documents. The devices, with model numbers CFI-Y2000 and CFI-Y2105, are classified as “Gaming Console/Peripherals” and appear to represent upgrades to the existing PlayStation Portal.
The model numbers suggest an incremental evolution from the current PlayStation Portal’s CFI-Y1001 designation, indicating these are likely variants or successor products. According to the certification filings, one of the devices could feature an OLED display—aligning with speculation about an updated Portal model that circulated earlier in 2026.
The PlayStation Portal, released in 2023, is Sony’s dedicated streaming handheld designed to remotely play PS5 games over Wi-Fi. An OLED variant would represent the first significant hardware refresh of the device, potentially offering improved screen quality with better contrast, deeper blacks, and more vibrant colors compared to the original LCD panel.
While the certification documents don’t provide extensive technical details, the existence of two separate model numbers suggests Sony may be planning either different regional variants or distinct product tiers. The exact specifications and release timeline remain unconfirmed, though the regulatory filings indicate Sony is actively developing these new PlayStation devices.
