Warhammer Survivors Is Launching Mere Days Before GTA 6, And I Respect The Audacity

Warhammer Survivors, a roguelite bullet heaven game developed by Auroch Digital in partnership with Poncle (the creator of Vampire Survivors), will launch on November 10, 2026 across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, and mobile platforms. The game will be priced at $7.99 (£6.39 / €7.49), with a 10% launch and preorder discount available on select platforms. It will be available day-one on Xbox Game Pass.

The game brings together characters and lore from both the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar universes, featuring over 40 playable characters, two campaigns, more than 75 weapons, and 15+ stages. Players battle waves of Tyranid enemies and other grimdark threats in frantic, top-down action gameplay that follows the “survivorslike” formula popularized by Vampire Survivors, where wave defense meets roguelike progression and weapon evolution.

While Warhammer Survivors uses the Vampire Survivors template as its foundation, early impressions suggest it offers meaningful innovations beyond a simple licensed reskin. Features include a follower system and more prominent boss battles, with Auroch Digital putting substantial care into hero design, map creation, and enemy variety. A new demo is available now on Steam, allowing players to experience the game ahead of launch.

The November 10 release date positions Warhammer Survivors between two major releases: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Grand Theft Auto 6. Despite the crowded release window, the game’s accessible price point and availability across multiple platforms—including mobile—suggest it’s positioned as a time-friendly alternative to these larger titles.
