MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls – Phoenix Cyclops Gameplay Reveal Trailer
Phoenix Cyclops is joining Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls as the game’s first Year 1 DLC character, launching on November 2 across PS5 and PC. Developed by Arc System Works, the character introduces a Solar Shards mechanic that lets players harness the Phoenix’s cosmic flames while balancing extraordinary strength against the risk of destruction, creating strategic depth through resource management.
Phoenix Cyclops is the first of four planned Year 1 Pass characters, indicating a clear post-launch content roadmap. The character will also be available with a classic costume variant as additional DLC. A gameplay trailer revealing the character in action releases October 7, ahead of the launch date.
The addition comes several months after Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls’ initial release earlier this year, which experienced some technical issues on PC. Despite these challenges, Arc System Works has maintained active support through balance updates and the planned DLC roster expansion. A PS Plus trial is currently available for players interested in trying the game.
