Astral Ascent Adds Free Expedition 33 Crossover
Astral Ascent has received a free crossover update featuring content from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, last year’s critically acclaimed game of the year. The collaboration was announced during the Triple-i Initiative showcase.
The free update adds three new bosses to Astral Ascent: The Mime, Golgra, and Pétank. It also introduces three new rooms inspired by Expedition 33’s world: The Gestral Village, The Campfire, and Lumière. Additionally, players can now recruit summons and allies from Expedition 33, including the character Gustave, who provides healing and attack boosts during gameplay.
To access the crossover content, players must complete Destiny Level 0 in Astral Ascent. The update is available to all players of the roguelike platformer at no additional cost.
While fans continue to await Clair Obscur: Expedition 33’s arrival on Nintendo Switch 2, this crossover offers an opportunity for Astral Ascent players to experience some of the acclaimed title’s content and characters.
