Astral Ascent Adds Free Expedition 33 Crossover
Astral Ascent is receiving a free crossover update featuring Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which won Game of the Year last year. The collaboration brings three exclusive bosses to the roguelike dungeon crawler: The Mime, Golgra, and Petank, along with three new rooms directly pulled from Expedition 33. These rooms include The Gestral Village, The Campfire, and Lumière. Players will also encounter summons during their runs, such as Gustave, who can heal and provide attack boosts.
To access this crossover content, players must first complete Destiny Level 0 in Astral Ascent. The update was announced at the Triple-i Initiative showcase, a platform dedicated to indie and independent game studios. This free collaboration represents a notable partnership between two well-regarded indie titles and provides fresh content for Astral Ascent’s community of players.
