Call of Duty: Mobile Adds Verdansk Next Month
Call of Duty: Mobile is adding Verdansk, one of the most iconic battle royale maps from the Warzone franchise, launching on November 12, 2026. The announcement was confirmed via an official post on X (formerly Twitter) from the Call of Duty: Mobile account, accompanied by a teaser video showing a player character heading to the legendary location.
The addition marks a significant content update for the mobile title, which has maintained a strong player base since its 2019 launch. This move comes following Activision’s shutdown of Warzone Mobile earlier in 2026, the dedicated battle royale mobile spinoff. Rather than letting the battle royale concept on mobile fade, Activision is instead integrating the iconic map into Call of Duty: Mobile’s existing battle royale offering, consolidating their mobile multiplayer experience.
Verdansk is widely regarded as one of the most beloved maps in the Warzone community, known for its urban environment and varied gameplay areas. The map’s addition to the mobile version represents a notable effort to bring console and PC experiences to mobile players, potentially attracting Warzone veterans to the mobile platform and strengthening Call of Duty: Mobile’s battle royale mode.
