Daredevil Star Charlie Cox Confirms He’s in an Unannounced Sega Game | NYCC 2026
Actor Charlie Cox, best known for playing Daredevil in Marvel’s Netflix series, has confirmed he is starring in an unannounced Sega video game. Cox revealed the news during an interview at New York Comic-Con 2026, disclosing that he has already completed his recording work for the project.
Cox described the voice acting experience as challenging but enjoyable, emphasizing that video game recording is fundamentally different from traditional acting work. He spent approximately 40 hours in the studio recording for the unnamed title. This marks his second video game project, following another unreleased game he completed previously.
During his NYCC appearance, Cox shared a humorous anecdote about the production experience, noting that the crew members were initially unaware he was not American. While Cox expressed enthusiasm about the project, he indicated there are limitations on what details he can publicly discuss about the game’s content, plot, or other specifics.
The announcement underscores Sega’s continued investment in celebrity talent for its interactive entertainment projects. However, the publisher has not yet provided official confirmation regarding the game’s genre, target platforms, release timeframe, or additional cast members involved in the project.
