For the first time in the series, Grand Theft Auto 6 lets you use headphones to listen to radio stations and podcasts

Rockstar Games has revealed the first six radio stations for Grand Theft Auto 6, along with audio previews available on the official website. The stations announced are Cocoteo FM (modern Latin music), Back Country Radio (country), AfroBank FM (African music), The Chamber 106.6 (classic metal), Flash FM (pop), and Dirty South Classics (hip-hop and rap classics). According to Rockstar, the game will feature the “biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio yet.”

For the first time in the franchise’s history, GTA 6 introduces the ability to listen to radio stations and on-demand podcasts while on foot, not just in vehicles. This new feature is enabled through headphones and earbuds connected to smartphones used by the game’s protagonists, Jason and Lucia, as they explore the fictional location of Leonida. Players will be able to stream both radio and podcasts during gameplay outside of vehicles.

The radio stations feature celebrity hosts and artists, including Bad Bunny and Lana Del Rey hosting Cocoteo FM alongside other confirmed personalities like Morgan Wallen. These six stations represent just the initial reveal, with additional stations to be announced before the game’s release. The news complements an earlier announcement of GTA 6: The Album, the official soundtrack featuring 34 songs from artists including Travis Scott and Future.
