Monster Hunter Stories 3 will come to Xbox on PC with Play Anywhere support
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Reflection, Capcom’s hybrid JRPG combining Pokémon-style monster collection mechanics with Monster Hunter’s action-hunting gameplay, will expand to PC via Xbox with Play Anywhere support launching November 18, 2026.
The game launched on Xbox Series X|S earlier this year but notably shipped without Xbox Play Anywhere functionality—a feature allowing seamless play across console and PC platforms. This limitation disappointed Xbox players, especially given the title’s existing availability on Nintendo Switch 2 and Steam, which positioned it as a mobile-friendly experience designed for on-the-go gaming.
The November PC release with Play Anywhere support addresses this gap, enabling Xbox Game Pass subscribers and owners to seamlessly enjoy the game across both console and Windows PC. As the Monster Hunter Stories series celebrates its tenth anniversary, this expanded platform presence reinforces Capcom’s commitment to bringing the franchise to a broader audience across multiple gaming platforms.
