As Paramount and Warner become Skydance, here’s what its mobile catalogue looks like

The $111 billion merger of Paramount and Warner Bros has been completed, with the combined entertainment companies now operating under the Skydance brand. The consolidation extends beyond film and television properties to encompass significant mobile gaming operations and intellectual property from both studios.

Key leadership appointments are shaping Skydance’s gaming strategy going forward. Tony Driscoll, formerly an executive at Epic Games, has been named president of games and experiences. The newly-formed Paramount Games Studios will integrate with Warner Bros’ existing game development operations, combining resources and portfolios under unified management.

The appointment of Bobby Kotick, former Activision CEO, to the Skydance board brings substantial industry expertise to gaming oversight. The merger represents significant industry consolidation, bringing together legacy Hollywood studios with established gaming operations and rich gaming catalogues. This positions Skydance to compete more effectively in both entertainment and interactive gaming markets, leveraging combined intellectual property, creative talent, and development capabilities across the organization.
