Pokémon ‘Blind Bag’ Skateboard Decks Return In New Santa Cruz Collaboration
The Pokémon Company is partnering with skateboard manufacturer Santa Cruz on a new “Blind Bag” skateboard deck collection celebrating Pokémon’s 30th anniversary. Each randomized deck features one of 30 highlight Trading Card Game cards printed against type-specific backgrounds, creating a unique collectible product that merges skateboard culture with TCG fandom.
The card selection spans Pokémon TCG history, ranging from iconic base set designs—Venusaur, Blastoise, and Charizard—to modern competitive favorites including the popular “Moonbreon” card from 2021’s Evolving Skies expansion. The collection includes three special “Chase Decks” as rare variants to drive collector interest in the blind bag mechanic.
This marks the continued collaboration between The Pokémon Company and Santa Cruz in merchandise crossovers. The blind bag skateboards are designed as functional boards that display favorite TCG artwork, allowing fans to showcase their collection through an alternative medium. The decks are set to release the following week.
