Tekken 8’s Reina Teased as the Next Guest Character for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves

Reina, the recently introduced character from Tekken 8, has been announced as the next guest character joining the roster of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. The announcement came via a teaser trailer from SNK Official.

Reina will be a playable addition to City of the Wolves, a fighting game that has already assembled an eclectic roster of guest characters. Her fellow guests include Chun-Li from Street Fighter, Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star, and professional soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo. The character, believed to be the daughter of Tekken’s Heihachi Mishima, represents the latest in a series of character crossovers between major fighting game franchises.

This guest character announcement continues an established pattern of cross-promotion between SNK and Bandai Namco. Tekken 7 previously featured Geese Howard, a primary antagonist from the Fatal Fury series, demonstrating the mutual goodwill between the two fighting game publishers. Such collaborations benefit both franchises by introducing each game’s roster to a wider audience and celebrating the broader legacy of fighting games as a genre.
