Flyway Games has officially confirmed the release date for “Waltz and Jam,” scheduling the platforming adventure for December 3, 2026. The game will launch across PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2, with a Steam demo already available to players interested in trying the game early.
The announcement was made during the Triple-I Initiative Showcase in October 2026, positioning the indie title alongside other independent releases. “Waltz and Jam” combines hand-drawn art with platforming adventure gameplay centered on the relationship between its two titular characters.
The narrative follows Waltz, who awakens in Downtown—a mysterious afterlife with no memory of his past. To reach the Gate of Judgment, Waltz must collect seven stamps with assistance from Low, an enigmatic character, and Jam, a loyal spirit puppy. The gameplay emphasizes cooperation, requiring players to leverage each character’s unique strengths to solve puzzles, uncover hidden secrets, and progress through the story.
The multi-platform strategy targets a broad audience across Sony’s current-generation console, Nintendo’s next-generation handheld, and PC gaming communities. The Steam demo availability ahead of the full release allows players to experience the game’s mechanics and artistic presentation before December.
