Nintendo has announced the latest free Game Trial for Switch Online members in North America. Hello Kitty Island Adventure, described as an Animal Crossing-like experience, is now available at no additional cost to all active Nintendo Switch Online subscribers from October 9 through October 15, 2026.
The trial runs from 10:00 AM PT on October 9 through 11:59 PM PT on October 15, giving subscribers a limited window to experience the full version of the game. This offering is part of Nintendo’s ongoing Game Trial program, which provides Switch Online members with periodic access to select games for restricted periods, allowing players to sample titles before committing to purchase.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure brings the beloved Sanrio character to a relaxing island-based simulation experience. The game appeals to fans of cozy life-simulation titles similar to Animal Crossing, offering exploration and character-driven gameplay on the Nintendo Switch platform.
The Game Trial program remains a key benefit for Switch Online subscribers, offering regular opportunities to discover and try new games at no extra cost beyond their subscription. These periodic trials continue to provide added value to the subscription service and help introduce players to games they might not otherwise experience.
