Konami Planning ‘Second and Third Waves’ of New Silent Hill Games

Konami is planning “second and third waves” of new Silent Hill games, according to series producer Motoi Okamoto in a recent interview with Famitsu magazine. The announcement comes after the successful completion of the franchise’s initial revival, which delivered three new titles over the past three years.

The first wave of Silent Hill releases included Silent Hill 2 Remake (2024), Silent Hill f (2025), and Silent Hill Townfall (2026). Okamoto expressed relief and satisfaction that all three games were successfully released and received high praise from both players and critics. “All three titles we initially announced were able to be released successfully, so we’re relieved,” Okamoto stated. “They’ve also received high praise, and we are satisfied with it.”

With the first wave now complete, Konami is already looking ahead to expand the franchise further. The producer revealed that the company is exploring second and third waves of Silent Hill games, indicating a significant long-term commitment to reviving the horror series. This suggests Konami plans to maintain momentum with regular new releases in the franchise. The announcement signals confidence in the franchise’s current direction and fan reception, positioning Silent Hill for sustained growth in the coming years.
