GTA 6 Fan Says Rockstar Sent Them a Poster Just Because They Asked Nicely
A Grand Theft Auto 6 fan from Brazil received a pleasant surprise after sending a polite email to Rockstar Games. Reddit user aogustoo explained that they took a “shot-in-the-dark” approach by contacting Rockstar to ask if the studio might send them a signed GTA 6 poster for their room, given their excitement for the upcoming game.
Surprisingly, Rockstar Games fulfilled the request and shipped a poster from their New York City office to the fan. The fan shared their story on Reddit late last month, where it resonated with the gaming community as a heartwarming example of a major developer acknowledging and appreciating a fan’s genuine enthusiasm.
The interaction highlights the positive relationship that can develop between game studios and their fanbase when fans approach requests respectfully and studios respond with goodwill gestures. For Rockstar Games, fulfilling such requests—especially for a highly anticipated title like GTA 6—can strengthen community connections and generate organic goodwill among players ahead of a major release.
