GTA 6 leaker CyberLeek is now reportedly threatening to release a full, playable build of the game
GTA 6 leaker CyberLeek has escalated their campaign by threatening to release a fully playable build of Grand Theft Auto 6, including the complete story mode with end credits, if their cryptocurrency token reaches a $30 million market cap. The threat was posted on CyberLeek’s website following the leaker’s release of 25 minutes of gameplay footage earlier this week.
CyberLeek has framed the leak campaign as a protest against Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games, demanding the publisher release GTA 6 on physical discs and issue a public apology. The leaker’s ultimatum states that if their memecoin reaches the $30 million market cap, a complete build featuring the full story mode “played to the end” with credits will be released. The campaign represents a monetization scheme where players would need to invest in CyberLeek’s cryptocurrency token to help fund the target.
Rockstar has previously responded to the leaks, calling them “heartbreaking” and noting they were “obviously not how we intended for you to see the game.” Take-Two, Rockstar’s parent company, has been actively pursuing the leaker’s identity, attempting to subpoena Discord for information. The threat arrives with GTA 6 scheduled to release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on November 19, 2026, just over a month away. CyberLeek has been leaking gameplay footage since August, progressively releasing clips featuring co-protagonists Jason and Lucia.
