GTA 6 Leaker Threatens To Release Full Game Build Before November Launch

A hacker known as “Cyberleek” has threatened to release a complete, playable build of Grand Theft Auto 6 ahead of its November launch, escalating a months-long campaign of unauthorized leaks targeting Rockstar Games and publisher Take-Two Interactive.

Cyberleek initially surfaced earlier this year by leaking gameplay footage, story missions, and in-game locations from GTA 6’s development builds. After remaining quiet in September, the leaker resumed activity last week with new material, including nude versions of in-game characters.

The leaker’s latest threat comes with specific demands: Cyberleek claims it will release a playable build of the game if supporters raise a cryptocurrency meme coin’s market capitalization to $30 million. The leaker is using nude videos of Lucia Caminos, one of the game’s two protagonists, as incentive for fans to invest in the coin.

Beyond the crypto scheme, Cyberleek is appealing to broader gaming discontent, specifically targeting Take-Two’s decision to release GTA 6 as digital-only on console—physical boxes will contain download codes rather than discs. This choice has become a focal point for criticism from fans opposed to the publisher’s business practices.

Take-Two Interactive has taken legal action in response to the leaks. In late August, the publisher subpoenaed Discord and Microsoft to obtain information about Cyberleek’s identity and location. The investigation appears ongoing as the leaker continues to threaten additional releases.
