Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls reveals its Year 1 DLC roster, starting with Phoenix Cyclops on 2nd November

Arc System Works has announced the complete Year 1 DLC roster for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, with four new playable characters releasing throughout the remainder of 2026 and 2027.

Phoenix Cyclops launches first on November 2, 2026, with both Classic and Legacy costume variants included. The character is followed by Thor—specifically Jane Foster’s iteration of the Asgardian god rather than Thor Odinson—scheduled for winter 2027. A brief teaser debuted at EVO France 2026, showing Jane Foster wielding Mjolnir in a scene with Loki, with a full gameplay trailer promised for later.

Venom joins the roster in spring 2027, accompanied by a new Klyntar-themed stage. X-Men character Jubilee rounds out the Year 1 lineup, arriving in summer 2027. The announcement featured striking artwork from Marvel artist Peach Momoko.

The decision to include Jane Foster’s Thor rather than the traditional Thor Odinson represents a notable choice that expands representation in the fighter’s diverse roster, which draws from nearly a century of Marvel Comics history. The staggered release schedule ensures consistent content updates throughout the coming year, with characters spanning different corners of the Marvel Universe—from the X-Men to Asgardians to symbiotes.
