Tekken 8 Yujiro Teaser Reveals Baki Rep’s In-Game Render Is Just as Uncanny as Fans Expected
Bandai Namco has unveiled the next wave of DLC characters for Tekken 8, showcased in a new trailer debuted at Evo France 2026. The Season 3 lineup includes Roger Jr., a kangaroo-and-joey fighter, and Yujiro Hanma from the Baki manga and anime series, both of which have generated significant fan anticipation.
Roger Jr. is the primary focus of the promotional trailer, with approximately three-quarters of its four-minute runtime dedicated to displaying the marsupial boxer’s gameplay mechanics. The character will launch in early access on November 12, followed by a full release on November 17. This follows earlier Season 3 releases of Kunimitsu in June and Bob in August.
Yujiro Hanma’s inclusion represents Tekken 8’s collaboration with the Baki franchise, bringing the iconic grappler character to the fighting game roster. While only briefly teased in the trailer, the character announcement has generated notable fan discussion and high expectations regarding the crossover’s in-game presentation and gameplay integration into the Tekken fighting system.
