League of Legends Worlds 2026: Teams, Play-In Draw & Pools

League of Legends Worlds 2026 will commence on October 15, with the complete roster of competing teams now confirmed following the CBLOL Summer Split Championship victory by LOS. The tournament features 20 total teams competing across two stages.

The Swiss Stage will host 16 teams, including regional powerhouses such as Gen.G, HLE, and T1 from Korea, Bilibili Gaming and Top Esports from China, along with European representatives G2 and Team Liquid. Additional teams include Dplus KIA, Anyone’s Legend, Invictus Gaming, MKOI, LYON, Team Secret Whales, CTBC Flying Oyster, LOS (the CBLOL champions), and one qualifier from the Play-In Stage.

Four teams will compete in the Play-In Stage to secure the final Swiss Stage slot: Karmine Corp, Cloud9, MVK Esports, and FURIA. This format allows developing regions and emerging teams to compete for a position in the main tournament stage.

The Swiss format represents an evolution from traditional single-elimination brackets, providing teams with multiple match opportunities and reducing the impact of a single loss on their tournament run. With representation from major regions including Korea, China, Europe, the Americas, and emerging regions, Worlds 2026 promises competitive diversity at the highest level of professional League of Legends play.
