Xbox Disc To Digital Adds Feature That Lets You Check Your ‘Licence History’
Xbox has rolled out a new feature for its disc-to-digital conversion system that allows players to monitor the status of their converted game licenses. The addition enables users to track whether a digital license for a previously converted disc-based game has been revoked from their account.
The feature is accessible through the official Play.Xbox browser portal at play.xbox.com/revoked-digital-games and can also be navigated to within the console’s settings menu via Settings > Manage Games > Disc to digital licence history. This move provides greater transparency for players who have utilized Xbox’s disc-to-digital conversion service, which allows them to convert physical game discs into permanent digital licenses on their accounts.
The discovery of this new tracking capability was first identified by gaming analyst XCT. The feature addresses a practical concern for players who have converted their physical libraries to digital formats—providing visibility into the status of these converted licenses and alerting them if any licenses have been revoked for any reason. This addition to Xbox’s game management tools reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to improve user experience and transparency around digital ownership, particularly as the gaming industry continues its shift toward digital distribution.
