Xbox Begins Giving Away Free Gift Cards For Eligible Gears Of War: E-Day Buyers
Xbox has begun distributing free Xbox Gift Cards to eligible pre-order buyers of Gears of War: E-Day, continuing a promotional strategy to boost interest in the upcoming title. The offer, which is being rolled out in select countries, provides additional value beyond the standard pre-order incentives.
Pre-order customers are receiving multiple benefits as part of this campaign: early access to the game’s open beta, exclusive in-game cosmetics (skins), and the complimentary gift card. Players who have purchased the game during this promotional period should check their “Offers & Credits” section to claim or monitor the status of their free gift card.
This promotional initiative represents Xbox’s effort to drive pre-order numbers ahead of the game’s release, combining traditional pre-order bonuses with a direct financial incentive in the form of the gift card. The strategy targets multiple regions, though availability appears to vary by territory. Players interested in securing these benefits should verify their eligibility in their account settings and ensure they’ve completed their purchase within the promotional window.
