GTA 6 Fans Celebrate as Cyberleek Cryptocurrency Crashes Hard

GTA 6 fans are celebrating after the Cyberleek memecoin experienced a significant market crash, effectively ending a controversial cryptocurrency-based leak scheme tied to unauthorized Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay footage.

The leaker behind Cyberleek had established a market cap-based release schedule for GTA 6 content, promising increasingly substantial leaks as the coin’s value hit predetermined targets ranging from $5 million to $25 million. The scheme threatened to escalate further, with the leaker vowing to release an entire 200GB GTA 6 build if the memecoin reached a $30 million market capitalization.

Over the past week, several gameplay clips were released after market cap milestones were achieved, including footage reportedly showing character Lucia in various states of detail. The leaker had pledged to continue releasing new unauthorized footage on a daily basis, contingent on the cryptocurrency meeting its growth targets.

The Cyberleek crash has effectively halted this scheme, preventing further unauthorized distribution of proprietary game content and stopping the leaker’s apparent attempt to profit from intellectual property theft. For fans and publisher Take-Two Interactive, the collapse removes the immediate threat of a massive game build leak while undermining the financial incentive driving the leak campaign.
