Despite Huge Changes For The Series, Halo Fest 2026 Is Going Forward, And News Is Coming Soon
Halo Fest 2026 will proceed as planned in December despite recent mass layoffs and organizational restructuring at Halo Studios. The competitive esports and community event is scheduled for December 11-13 in Seattle and has already sold out entirely.
Halo Studios director of competitive engagement Tashi confirmed the event’s continuation and announced that new information would be shared within the week. Beyond event logistics, Halo Studios intends to unveil materials commemorating the franchise’s 25-year legacy and celebrating its community. Fans can also expect announcements regarding upcoming content for currently available Halo titles.
The decision to maintain Halo Fest underscores the studio’s commitment to its competitive community despite the turbulent period. “There’s a huge amount of Halo fans who are looking forward to the event to attend or watch from home, and we’re looking forward to providing a platform for the community to celebrate 25 years of Halo and each other,” Tashi stated. The sold-out status of the event demonstrates the enduring fan interest in the Halo franchise and its competitive ecosystem.
