9 Newly Announced Games From IGN Fan Fest: Fall Edition to Add to Your Wishlist
IGN Fan Fest: Fall Edition showcased nine newly announced games spanning multiple genres and platforms. The event featured exclusive reveals and in-depth looks at upcoming titles for PC, consoles, and mobile, including co-op survival adventures, horror games, relaxing survival experiences, mysteries, and a chess-based shooter.
Among the highlighted titles is Akiiwan: Relaxing Survival, a chill survival adventure distinguished by its unique mechanic—a talking campfire that serves as the player’s guide and companion. The gameplay alternates between day and night cycles: during daylight, players explore, craft, fish, and hunt to survive. At night, the campfire becomes an oracle, allowing players to ask three questions each evening. The game emphasizes strategic decision-making, as players must choose their questions wisely. Beyond the approaching winter, the game promises additional surprises that will challenge players’ survival strategies.
The showcase demonstrates the range of upcoming gaming experiences across platforms, from contemplative survival titles to competitive puzzle-shooters. The event is part of IGN’s Fall programming, offering first-looks at anticipated releases coming to market.
