Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Has Been Updated To Version 4.0.1, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
Nintendo has released Version 4.0.1 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, a maintenance update for the Nintendo Switch racing title. The update arrives approximately one month after the more substantial Version 4.0.0 release in September, which introduced significant changes including improved Switch 2 compatibility.
Version 4.0.1 is primarily focused on stability and performance improvements through multiple bug fixes and issue resolutions. As a maintenance-focused patch, it does not introduce major new features or significant content additions, instead serving as a routine quality-of-life update designed to enhance overall gaming stability and performance.
The release demonstrates Nintendo’s ongoing commitment to supporting Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with regular updates across its Switch platform ecosystem. While considerably more modest in scope compared to September’s more comprehensive 4.0.0 update, the 4.0.1 patch reflects Nintendo’s continued investment in maintaining the game’s long-term viability and player experience.
