Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls to add Jane Foster’s Thor, Venom and Jubilee - following Phoenix Cyclops - in its Year One DLC pass
Arc System Works has unveiled the complete Year One DLC roster for fighting game Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, following the July announcement of Phoenix Cyclops as the game’s first post-launch character. Phoenix Cyclops, specifically the Phoenix Force-imbued version of Scott Summers from 2012’s Avengers vs. X-Men event, will join the roster on November 2nd. The Year One DLC pass will also include Jane Foster’s Thor, Venom, and Jubilee, adding significant depth to the game’s character roster.
The announcement came alongside striking promotional artwork by Peach Momoko, the acclaimed artist behind 2024’s Ultimate X-Men comic run. The Phoenix Force variant of Cyclops proved a notable choice for DLC, as the character was unexpectedly absent from the base roster. While Cyclops’s inclusion as paid content was considered likely, the specific version selected—drawing from the landmark Avengers vs. X-Men storyline—added an element of surprise. The Year One pass demonstrates Arc System Works’ commitment to ongoing post-launch support for the title.
