OhnePixel Will Play at Valorant Champions Shanghai in Showmatch
Popular Counter-Strike content creator Mark ‘ohnepixel’ Zimmerman will participate in a showmatch at Valorant Champions Shanghai on October 17 at 11 pm PDT (2 pm CST), during the second day of the Mercedes-Benz Arena finals weekend. The exhibition match is scheduled to showcase Valorant’s 31st Agent.
Team Omega will be captained by professional player Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo and will include Ohnepixel alongside Athena, a T1 Valorant ambassador and member of K-pop group FIFTY FIFTY. Their opponents, Team Alpha, will be led by Karry Wang, a Chinese singer and actor.
The showmatch takes place the day before the championship final, where one of four teams—Team Vitality, LOUD, 100 Thieves, or G2 Esports—will compete for the Champions Cup. The inclusion of prominent content creators and entertainment figures reflects the growing intersection of esports, gaming content creation, and mainstream entertainment in Valorant’s competitive ecosystem.
