Pokémon Go ‘Fall Marathon Buddy Trek’ event guide
Pokémon Go is running its annual fall seasonal event, “Fall Marathon: Buddy Trek,” from October 13-19, bringing several new features and debuts to the mobile augmented reality game.
The event marks the first appearance of Bramblin, a tumbleweed-themed Pokémon, in Pokémon Go. Players can encounter the new Pokémon in the wild during the event period, with availability through Incense spawns noted as a primary method of encounter.
Additionally, the event introduces “Super Max Manectric,” which represents a significant Mega Evolution expansion. Manectric can now be Mega Evolved to Super Max Level for the first time—the fourth tier of Mega Evolution in the game. Notably, Mega Manectric gains access to the exclusive move Discharge+ when Mega Evolved, even without maximizing the Pokémon’s individual level, providing enhanced gameplay utility for trainers using this evolution variant.
The event is part of Pokémon Go’s ongoing seasonal calendar and includes various bonuses and perks alongside the new encounter opportunities, though complete details of these additional rewards were not specified in available coverage. The October 13-19 window provides a limited-time opportunity for players to obtain Bramblin and experiment with the new Manectric Mega Evolution mechanic.
