Over 1 Million Characters Have Been Made in the WoW Forever Beta
World of Warcraft Forever’s beta has reached a significant milestone, with over 1 million characters created since its launch last month. The achievement is notable given that access to the beta requires a $30 Skyborne pack purchase, restricting participation to paying players.
According to classicplus.io, a community website tracking WoW Forever data, exactly 1,003,125 characters have been created in the Classic Plus mode. This figure suggests strong player interest in the title despite the paywall for entry.
Interestingly, the Skyborne race—the exclusive race associated with the paid access pack—represents only 18.7% of all created characters on both Alliance and Horde factions, making them the least popular race choice. This indicates that while players are investing in beta access, many are opting to play alternative races rather than the featured Skyborne option.
The strong character creation numbers demonstrate robust early engagement with WoW Forever’s beta phase, though the limited availability through paid access means the full player base has yet to be tested.
