007 First Light Switch 2 Release Date Set for March 18

007 First Light, the young James Bond spy adventure that launched in May 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, now has a confirmed release date for Nintendo Switch 2: March 18, 2027.

The game was originally slated to arrive on Nintendo’s latest console in September 2026, but IO Interactive announced in that month that the launch would be delayed to March 2027. The developer plans to use the additional development time to refine the game’s optimization and performance for Switch 2, ensuring it meets player expectations at launch.

Since its initial release, 007 First Light has become a commercial success, selling over 4 million copies and reaching that milestone in August. The game is now available for pre-order in Deluxe Edition form at $69.99, which offers early access to exclusive items as compensation for the extended wait. Pre-order bonuses include James Bond’s iconic GoldenEye suit alongside gadget items: the Gleaming Lighter, Gleaming Earphones, Gleaming Dart Gun, and Gleaming Pen.

The Switch 2 arrival marks the game’s expansion to Nintendo’s new hardware following its successful debut on other platforms, bringing the portable spy adventure to players on the go.
