Dust II Added to PUBG Mobile in G2 x PUBG Mobile Crossover
G2 Esports and PUBG Mobile have announced a partnership featuring a new community tournament called “G2 x PUBG MOBILE: Community Challenge.” As part of this collaboration, Counter-Strike’s iconic Dust II map has been reimagined for PUBG Mobile under the name “PMG2,” bringing familiar territory to mobile battle royale players.
The tournament will run from October 24-25, featuring teams of five competing in classic versus matches. Two qualifier rounds on October 24 will determine which four teams advance to the Finals on October 25, with prizes awarded to advancing teams.
The crossover aims to leverage the appeal of both gaming communities, introducing G2 and Counter-Strike fans to PUBG Mobile’s esports ecosystem through a recognizable map. By featuring the iconic Dust II layout in a mobile context, the partnership seeks to bridge competitive gamers from both franchises and expand esports reach through familiar competitive gaming elements.
