GTA 6 leaker’s latest video allegedly shows scenes from the final mission, as they indicate the leaks may have come to an end
Cyberleek, the notorious leaker responsible for releasing Grand Theft Auto 6 footage over several weeks, has indicated they are stopping their leak campaign. The leaker released what appears to be their final video, allegedly showing scenes from the game’s ending, before announcing they would cease further disclosures.
The leaker’s motivation was tied to a cryptocurrency scheme. Cyberleek had promised to release a complete 200GB build of GTA 6 if their associated memecoin reached a $30 million market cap. After the coin’s recent collapse—despite an earlier spike coinciding with leaked footage of protagonist Lucia—the coin fell far short of its target, prompting the leaker to abandon their plan.
With their financial incentive gone, Cyberleek has stated they will stop leaking material, and their official website where leaks and updates were posted has gone offline. However, the leaker has not entirely disappeared. In a message preserved on social media, Cyberleek invoked a “dead man’s switch” strategy, threatening to release story spoilers and complete ending details if they face threats or legal action from Rockstar Games or parent company Take-Two Interactive. The leaker essentially claims that continuing legal pressure would trigger automatic release of sensitive plot information, creating leverage in their standoff with the publisher.
The incident represents a significant security breach for Rockstar Games, with months of unauthorized gameplay footage circulating online. As GTA 6’s official release approaches, the threat of spoiler leaks remains a concern for fans who wish to experience the game’s story unspoiled.
